Location
The STEM Education Department Head is a thought leader who sets the strategic direction for the department, in support of the vision and mission of the College of Education and NC State University. The Department Head also provides leadership to faculty and staff in the department by supporting and building community, and by providing a vision for programming growth and improvement. The Department Head is responsible for departmental budgeting, budget control, and all staffing, and oversees all administrative matters and departmental processes. The Department Head promotes the department through representation in college, university, and external strategic initiatives and may engage in research, teaching, doctoral education, publication, externally funded projects, and other professorial activities.
