Biography
Kathryn Early is a first year doctoral student pursuing a Ph.D. in Secondary Mathematics Education at Auburn University. Her research interests focus on how to provide equitable opportunities for all students to learn mathematics and statistics focusing on both content and structural barriers. Kathryn holds an Ed. S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. Currently, she is in her twelfth year teaching mathematics and statistics at Harris County High School in Hamilton, GA. Kathryn hopes to use all the knowledge gained in her future career as a university researcher and mathematics teacher educator to help future generations of mathematics educators.
