Join our NSF-funded project for Mathematics Coaches in Rural Districts

The University of Rochester and University of Idaho are collaborating on an NSF-funded project supporting rural math coaches and have begun recruitment for a third cohort for 2022-2024.  As a participating coach, over a two-year period, you would participate in an online course, online coaching video clubs, and online video coaching cycles, as well as research activities.

The professional learning and research activities are at no cost to you or your district and we will offer a payment to each participant. The amount will depend on the extent of your participation and the number of research activities planned in a given year, with an annual maximum of $500.

In addition, your district will receive $500 per coach participant for professional development that can be spent at the district’s discretion. These funds will be paid out after the first year of your participation in the project.
