The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Department of Educational Studies invites qualified teacher educators with expertise in elementary/middle level education and an emphasis in science, technology, engineering, and/or math (STEM) to apply for a full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank, to begin Fall 2022. The successful candidate will be a member of a diverse department that serves early childhood education, elementary/middle education, special education (K-12), and teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL, K-12) programs.

Teaching responsibilities serve early childhood and elementary/middle education majors through courses in Mathematics Methods, Science Methods, and Field Experience, as well as field and student teaching supervision. The successful candidate will serve as the liaison for elementary level Professional Development School site(s) as part of their regular teaching assignment.

Only candidates who will have completed or are near completion of a doctorate degree by the position start date will be considered.  Candidates must have an earned doctorate by May 2023. Review of applications will begin on November 4, 2021, and continue until the position is filled.
