Nominations for AMTE’s 2023-2024 Awards are due this summer beginning June 15!

Do you know an excellent mathematics education scholar or a wonderful early career mathematics educator? If you do, the Awards Committee would like to encourage you to nominate these deserving individuals for the 2024 Excellence in Teaching Award or the 2024 Early Career Award. Members of AMTE are leaders in the field of mathematics education; therefore, it is essential that we recognize and applaud worthy individuals. Nominations are due by June 15, 2023. 

There are two other awards for this awards cycle. These provide individuals with scholarships to assist with various expenses: the 2023 Elementary Mathematics Specialist Scholarship (due by June 15, 2023) and the 2024 Susan Gay Graduate Student Conference Travel Scholarship (due by August 1, 2023). Both applications are to be completed and submitted online by the individual seeking funding.
