AMTE 2023 Annual Conference Information

Grab a friend and make plans to join other AMTE members at the 2023 AMTE Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA on February 2-4, 2023. The Conferences Committee is busy making arrangements for meeting spaces, planning menus, and anticipating audio/visual needs to provide opportunities for attendees to learn, share, and collaborate with one another. We work for you and are sensitive to the needs of our community and are committed to maintaining high expectations for this annual event.

The conference will begin on Thursday morning and includes the annual AMTE Business Meeting. Meals provided during the conference and already included in your registration fee are Thursday’s lunch, Friday’s breakfast and lunch, and Saturday’s breakfast and lunch. Dinner on Thursday and Friday are on your own.

The conference will be held at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel located in New Orleans’ French Quarter where a wide variety of restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel room rate is $169 for a single or double room. The deadline for reservations is January 11, 2023 or when the room block is full. Filling the rooms in our block at the conference hotel helps to reduce some of the conference expenses paid by AMTE, so we hope you will support AMTE by staying at the conference hotel. Information about hotel reservations will be on the AMTE website in August.

The Program Committee received 476 proposal submissions and had at least 280 volunteers to serve as reviewers! Notification of acceptance is approximately August 15, 2022. Speaker registration is required by September 15, 2022.

Beginning in August, the conference registration process will open on the AMTE website. The Regular Registration deadline is November 30, 2022. Early registration at reduced rates is available through September 30. Check the AMTE Conference Information page for the latest updates.

We hope to see you in New Orleans in February!
