Summary of Recent Affiliate Accomplishments and Upcoming Activities:

We have have two annual gatherings: a special session at the Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching (this conference is in July and alternates between Ft. Worth, Houston, or San Antonio) and an AMTE-TX Fall conference.  Our Fall 2019 conference was held in September at Baylor University in Waco.  The theme was "Coming Together to Collaborate and Support Mathematics Teacher instructor in Texas," and our keynote speaker was AMTE President Michael Steele.

Our Fall 2020 was cancelled and we were happy to have Texas San Antonio host a very successful virtual conference in the Fall of 2021! The theme this past fall was "Rebuilding and Reframing: Building Towards a More Equitable Future for PK-12 Teacher Preparation". We are looking forward to the 2022 Fall Conference scheduled for September hosted by Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi.

Despite the challenges of the Pandemic we continue to publish our JMTET Journal. All issues can be found here including our most recent publication in summer 2021.https://amte-tx.com/online-journal-2/
