AMTEC is a community of mathematics teacher educators in Connecticut. Our goal is to ensure an ample supply of high quality teachers of mathematics in Connecticut.
AMTEC is excited that its collaborative effort “Equity in Mathematics Education: Joint Position Statement for Connecticut” was unanimously approved by the Connecticut State Board of Education (September, 2023). We continue to work together with fellow mathematics education leadership organizations ATOMIC and CCLM. We look forward to hosting our third-annual preservice teacher conference for prospective mathematics teachers throughout Connecticut.
