The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Utah State University (USU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor to join the Mathematics and Statistics Education group. This is an academic year (nine-month) appointment starting August 1, 2023. We specialize in preparing pre-service elementary and secondary teachers to teach mathematics. An ideal candidate for this position will have strong interests in math/stat education research at the secondary/post-secondary level, as well as the ability to teach a variety of courses for pre-service math/stat teachers. This position is part of a faculty cluster hire to contribute to USU’s justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) missions and goals; successful applicants will join the JEDI Collaboratory, a thematic mentoring and collaboration network.
