Location
Ph.D. in mathematics (ABD considered), prior teaching experience preferred. Ideally, this experience would include teaching at the college/university level as well as using participatory, engaged pedagogical practices.
Provide high quality, undergraduate mathematics instruction in a liberal arts setting. Learn more about Math @ EMU. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, to mentoring students for success, and to collaboration across disciplinary boundaries. Applicants must have a strong commitment to serving and working within a community of diverse learners. Teaching assignments may include Calculus I, II and III, Geometry, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations.
Fulltime, nine-month contract for two years. 24 semester hours per year. Salary determined by education and experience.
Positions begin mid-August 2023. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
