Mathematics & Statistics: Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in mathematics education; carry out research and publish scholarly work; perform department, university and professional service. Require: doctorate in mathematics education by August 2008; (other doctorate-holding candidates with exceptional experience or qualifications in mathematics education may be considered); commitment to and evidence of success in teaching and research. Desire: evidence of pre-college teaching experience; designing and teaching inquiry-based mathematics courses; or work with in-service teachers; experience teaching content courses for early, middle or secondary school teachers.
