The Department of Mathematical Sciences invites applications for two tenure track positions in mathematics education starting August 2007. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications and experience. At least one position will be filled by someone with a record of productivity strong enough to support a doctoral program. Applicants must hold a terminal degree in mathematics education or mathematics with a focus in teaching and learning by the appointment date. A successful candidate should have a commitment to excellence in teaching at all levels as well as a strong research background or potential. MTSU seeks candidates committed to using integrative technologies in teaching.
