Position in Mathematics Education

Spring 2007 through Spring 2008

 

Position.  Full-time Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor position to begin January 15, 2007.

 

Qualifications and Responsibilities.  A doctorate in Mathematics Education or a related field is preferred.  Preference will be given to candidates with a strong mathematics education background, and teaching experience.  Responsibilities include teaching courses in mathematics and mathematics education at the elementary and secondary level, student advising, and possibly teaching courses in curriculum and instruction.

 

Special Opportunities.  Become part of a nationally accredited (NCATE) program with state-of-the art facilities.  This position is a one and one-half year faculty appointment. The possibility exists for collaborating with colleagues in state and nationally supported initiatives in mathematics education.
