Nadine Bezuk, AMTE Executive Director (2001-present)

Dr. Nadine Bezuk is the Qualcomm Professor of Mathematics Education at San Diego State University. She contributes to preservice and inservice mathematics teacher education, particularly in the development of elementary mathematics methods courses and mathematics specialist programs aimed at helping all students, including English Language Learners, succeed in mathematics. She has taught elementary, junior high, high school, and college mathematics. She is a former AMTE President and Board Member and a founding member of the organization.
